Simone from Studio By The Bay is excited to bring a fun & engaging Arts Programme to the homeschool community! Located in Falcon, WA, these 1 hr sessions are designed to suit all ages & abilities. Come and explore the wonders of clay and other art mediums in a safe, inclusive & wholesome environment. Parents are welcome to stay, assist, watch the magic happen or sign in and come back when the class is complete. Your child will complete a different project each fortnight using a diverse range of art skills & techniques,
WHAT IS INCLUDED
Pottery tools, art supplies and Studio Space.
Guided small group tutoring. Max of 10 children per session.
Kiln firing & glazing of your work. ( if clay)
FAQ
DO I NEED TO BOOK THE WHOLE TERMS PROGRAMME?
Not at all! Choose what session/ project your child would like to participate in and book that session separately.
CAN I BRING A SNACK?
Of course! Children can either snack whilst working or after the session, sit under the trees and have a little play.
DO PARENTS NEED TO STAY FOR THE HOUR SESSION?
Its up to you. Simone is a fully trained Arts Specialist with over 15 years experience in the classroom and working with children. If your child is comfortable, you are welcome to sign in your child and come back at 5pm when the session is complete. WWCC CHECK. POLIC CLEARANCE.
WHAT IS THE AGE RECOMMENDATION?
Ages 5-13. If your child is under 5, you are welcome to stay with your child for the hour session.
HOW LONG BEFORE I GET MY WORK BACK?
Work will take up to a week to dry before going in the kiln. If your work needs to be fired twice, your work can take up to 3-4 weeks before collection.
DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE?
Not at all. Come as you are. Clay is such a beautiful medium for all ages to work with.
CAN PARENTS STAY FOR THE SESSION?
Yes!Of course! Its always such a beautiful experience when parents stay to watch the magic happen.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Unfortunately we are unable to refund a workshop ticket, however please contact Simone at hello@studiobythebay.com.au to transfer your ticket for another session or person to take your place.
