About Simone

Focused on slow living and sharing her love of ceramics, Studio by the Bay was created by Perth based artist, Simone. Making a range of unique ceramics from her home studio in Falcon, each piece is created lovingly by hand & beautifully imperfect.

With over 17 year’s experience teaching art in the classroom, Simone finds purpose in creating warm, inviting spaces that encourage the creative process.

“There is something beautiful when we use something handmade. I love how there is somebody behind the work, whose put their heart, love, care and energy into that object. I value the stories that these pieces tell. Working with clay ignites a spark within me, that I love to share.”
